This really is a lovely guitar. The fingerboard is especially nice, with a lovely dark slab of rosewood, and lovely fretwork. The guitar plays perfectly out of the box. It feels so nice to hold and look at, as well to to play and feels like a much more expensive guitar than it was!
In my opinion, it is better in almost every apsect compared to my Squier Classic Vibe Jaguar (which required a bit of work to get it playing nicely). I also played the Vintera model when I was thinking of upgrading, and I think this is nicer.

I'd rate my FJG7 a 9.5 out of 10
Overall I'd rate my FJG7 as a very good Jaguar style guitar clone.
Pros:
+ Overall fit and finish is very good although not perfect.
+ I really like the sound of the Foals Jaguar style pickups.
+ I love the feel of the neck.
+ The controls and switches all look and feel solid.
Cons:
- There is one spot/area about 5/8" x 1/2" in size on the back of the neck between the nut and first fret that missed getting finished (is unfinished). This does not affect playability, but is why I do not consider that the finish is perfect.
- The Tremolo (actually vibrato) Tailpiece does not feel as high quality as the rest of the components.
Comment: The color code on this model is BP, which is described as Black Pearl on the Foals Guitar website. However, mine just looks Gloss Black. There is not any Pearl or Pearlescent quality to the finish on mine, but the Gloss Black does look very nice.

Guitar arrived in immaculate condition. Fully setup with zero issues. All high quality parts and nothing on this guitar needs to be modded or upgraded. Comparable to a Fender MIM Jaguar if not better. Very glad I took a chance and bought this

I‘m very pleasant with the bridge. It fits in the original stock thimbles of my Fender CIJ Jaguar. Very tight, but with a bit passion they fitted in!

Poplar Body
The tone is solid and transparent with good tonal performance. Suitable for rhythm playing and also for lead solo.
Rosewood Fingerboard
Rosewood fingerboard has superior ductility and abrasion resistance to make string pushing and manipulation more comfortable, and the hardness of the material can well support the vibration of the strings, making the tone warm and full.
Carbonised roasted maple
Carbonised roasted maple necks are relatively lightweight but have high structural strength, making the neck more comfortable and less taxing to play while also increasing the resonance and tonal transfer of the guitar.
Self-developed FS-Donut-05alnico #5 magnet pickups
With excellent magnetic properties and corrosion resistance, it is able to maintain a high degree of sensitivity and stability in a variety of environments. This enables the pickup to accurately capture both subtle fingertip touches and strong plucked strings, which can be accurately converted into musical signals, ensuring the authenticity and audibility of the music.
A little two-point double-shake for perfect vibrato.
The inline crank design makes the 2-point small double crank stronger and more durable.
Ergonomic design
The heel of the neck is bevelled ergonomically crafted high grip to play easily without pinching.The Foals nameplate is fixed with a custom model four-point rivet, which is stronger and more durable and not easy to loosen.
