Dont sleep on this guitar, not only do I like it better than my modded J Mascis I like it better than my american professional 2. Sure it may take a minute to get to you but it is so worth the wait. I usually have to do full setups on ANY guitar I order but this one came setup perfectly and pretty close to in tune! HOW?!?!

The black peal looks so good too. If you are thinking about it, do it! This guitar blows any guitar in its price range away and IMO guitars that are way more expensive.

Not an avid reviewer but giving credit where it is due. You guys simply nailed it. The FJG7 has it all - all the specs I have been itching for for years, including fantastic weight, sound and feel. It was even close to being set up out of the box. Very hard to put this guitar down. Better than any competitive offering that I have played/owned sub $2,000. Will definitely be ordering more from Foals. Free accessories as well and safely packaged for shipping. Hoping they make a T-style guitar with wide range pickups and a whammy bar!

Loved it! A huge improvement over the standard traditional, manufactured Jaguar. Such an attention to the traditional problems that led to them being solved which made the instrument imminently more playable. Foals communication service was also Top Notch and product was delivered as promised within the time allotted, with quite a few accessories included. Gig bag is exceptional. Highly recommend this company and their products!

The product is of good quality. I had some trouble with my Am Performer Mustang. I had to replace the thimbles which was no problem. Finally a fixed bridge. Would buy again.

The guitar is incredible value! It actually blew my mind. I’m gonna be purchasing another one. I was able to communicate with seller and they assured me of shipment. Totally confident to buy their T-Style next!

This really is a lovely guitar. The fingerboard is especially nice, with a lovely dark slab of rosewood, and lovely fretwork. The guitar plays perfectly out of the box. It feels so nice to hold and look at, as well to to play and feels like a much more expensive guitar than it was!

In my opinion, it is better in almost every apsect compared to my Squier Classic Vibe Jaguar (which required a bit of work to get it playing nicely). I also played the Vintera model when I was thinking of upgrading, and I think this is nicer.

Overall I'd rate my FJG7 as a very good Jaguar style guitar clone.

Pros:
+ Overall fit and finish is very good although not perfect.
+ I really like the sound of the Foals Jaguar style pickups.
+ I love the feel of the neck.
+ The controls and switches all look and feel solid.

Cons:
- There is one spot/area about 5/8" x 1/2" in size on the back of the neck between the nut and first fret that missed getting finished (is unfinished). This does not affect playability, but is why I do not consider that the finish is perfect.
- The Tremolo (actually vibrato) Tailpiece does not feel as high quality as the rest of the components.

Comment: The color code on this model is BP, which is described as Black Pearl on the Foals Guitar website. However, mine just looks Gloss Black. There is not any Pearl or Pearlescent quality to the finish on mine, but the Gloss Black does look very nice.
